We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of Warranty Manager. This is a key leadership position that requires strong technical problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
About the Job- Lead warranty management processes to ensure reliability and availability milestones are met.
- Develop and mentor a team of two direct reports to deliver project and team goals.
- Oversee commercial contract management, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and cost-effective outcomes.
- Represent the company in customer-facing interactions, building strong relationships and resolving issues proactively.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
- Balancing technical problem-solving with strategic leadership.
- Mentoring and developing a team of direct reports.
- Managing commercial contracts and ensuring compliance.
- Representing the company in customer-facing interactions.
- Collaborating with internal teams and suppliers.
- Proven experience in the rolling stock industry, specifically in warranty, maintenance, or operational support.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring team members.
- Expertise in customer-facing roles, including account and supplier management.
- Experience in risk assessment, mitigation, and execution of commercial contracts.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) to manage contracts, track performance, and identify issues.
