We are a leading provider of NDIS services, supporting over 10,000 participants annually with tailored care and support. Our multi-disciplinary approach focuses on delivering quality support services that cater to the unique needs and goals of our participants and their families.
Job RoleWe are seeking Behaviour Support Practitioners of all experience levels in Windsor, Penrith, or Katoomba. Whether you are new to Behaviour Support or have extensive experience, we welcome applications from suitably qualified individuals.
In this role, you will:
- Assist NDIS participants and their families/carers in identifying needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
- Evaluate, develop, and deliver evidence-based support plans in complex support environments.
- Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive behaviour support framework and commit to eliminating restrictive practices in home and community settings.
- Ensure individual plans reflect NDIS participants' goals, passions, and strengths.
- Enhance the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting participants in their lives – family, carers, friends, etc.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree-level qualification as an allied health professional.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
- A proactive attitude, motivated by continuous improvement and opportunities to test and learn from new ideas.
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
