We are seeking an Executive Chef to join our team at The Boomerang Hotel in Lavington, New South Wales.

Salary

$75,000-$80,000 per year, plus superannuation and bonus opportunities.

This is a brilliant opportunity to become a senior leader in our kitchen team, with accountability for managing the operation and ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of dishes to surpass guest expectations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing the pass during busy service times to ensure seamless execution of menu items;
  • Developing and implementing new menu concepts, as well as managing inventory and food preparation;
  • Fostering a positive and productive working environment by providing guidance and mentorship to the kitchen team;
  • Creating and managing staff rosters to meet business needs;
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety and adherence to compliance and safety standards;
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment;
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build a positive culture and motivate teams;
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment;
  • Operational experience to achieve financial and business targets;
  • Trade Cooking qualifications;
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our business;
