**Heritage Consultant Role Summary**

\

This senior position focuses on delivering technical services to clients across the heritage sector.

\

The successful candidate will have expertise in managing complex projects, conducting field surveys and stakeholder consultations.

\

They will also be responsible for developing client relationships and providing strategic advice on heritage compliance.

\Key Responsibilities:\

  • Project Management: Manage proposals and projects with an increasing level of complexity and value.\
  • Heritage Assessments: Conduct Aboriginal and historical heritage assessments, including field surveys, stakeholder consultation, and reporting.\
  • Cultural Heritage Management: Prepare Heritage Impact Statements (HIS), Cultural Heritage Management Plans (CHMPs), and due diligence assessments.\
  • Client Relationships: Develop strong client relationships and provide marketing support for Niche's services.\
  • Quality Control: Conduct internal technical review and quality control of reports and proposals.\
  • Technical Deliverables: Produce accurate and complex technical deliverables, analysis, and reports.\
  • Industry Engagement: Author or co-author abstracts, papers, presentations for industry-specific events or conferences.\
  • Team Support: Mentor and support junior team members in heritage investigations and reporting.\
  • Strategic Advice: Provide strategic advice on heritage compliance in NSW.\
  • Aboriginal and Historical Heritage: Engage with Traditional Owner groups, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.\
  • Fieldwork and Stakeholder Consultation: Demonstrate experience conducting fieldwork and stakeholder consultation.\
  • Written and Verbal Communication: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.\
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.\
  • Australian Working Rights: Hold full Australian working rights and a valid driver's licence.\
