Job Title

Heritage Manager University Infrastructure

">Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of heritage strategies and approvals that protect and celebrate the culturally significant campus.
  • Provide expert heritage advice and expertise on the effective management and conservation of the university's items of heritage significance to inform evidence-based decision making.
  • Ensure the heritage status of buildings, properties, sites and objects are recorded and kept up to date with statutory and non-statutory rankings of heritage significance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Knowledge of NSW Heritage Act 1977, relevant State Environmental Planning Policies and NSW National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974.
  • Knowledge and experience in the government heritage regulatory environment at all levels of government.
  • Excellent organisational, time and workload management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines.
