Automotive Business Development Representative

RAC WA is committed to delivering exceptional member experiences through its automotive breakdown and recovery services. To achieve this goal, we are seeking a talented Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, reliable, and exceptional networker who can foster and manage customer relationships by understanding and researching their needs. This role focuses on identifying how RAC WA products can best support customers, ensuring all interactions are efficient, timely, and lead to successful sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop connections with existing customers and explore new business opportunities.
  • Understand Customer Needs: Gain a deep understanding of customer businesses to identify how RAC WA products can best support them.
  • Regular Follow-Ups: Conduct meetings and follow-ups to educate customers on available options.
  • Drive Sales: Ensure customer interactions lead to successful sales of RAC WA products.
  • Scheduled Meetings: Plan and attend regular offsite meetings to keep customers informed about product benefits and services.
  • Resolve Queries: Address customer queries and complaints with clear, transparent information.
  • Identify Improvements: Spot business process improvements and opportunities.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate account details and log new and existing customer information daily.
  • Retention Programs: Implement retention programs monthly to maintain customer loyalty.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify and refine target markets.

To succeed in this role, you must be a proactive, organized, and personable individual who thrives in a sales environment, ideally with experience in a similar position. You will be required to have exceptional communication skills, a competitive spirit, strong relationship-building skills, and proven proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
