About the Role
  • Act as primary point of contact for customer accounts, overseeing shipment lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Maintain daily communication with customers, process shipments, and handle reporting tasks.
Responsibilities
  • Understand international shipping processes, documentation, and terminology to adapt processes/create solutions in response to challenges.
  • Apply industry knowledge to execute shipment tasks according to customer SOPs, including booking approvals, pre-alerts, governmental filings, deliveries, and invoicing.
  • Manage shipment data in Navisphere, ensuring accuracy and up-to-dateness.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Build strong customer relationships through timely responses and issue resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, agents, and external vendors.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-3 years of freight forwarding operations/logistics experience preferred.
  • Critical-thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills necessary to adapt to changing tasks and customer needs.
