We are seeking a skilled professional to process import shipments for a freight forwarder in Sydney's South.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the registration of import shipments, distributing pre-alerts, arrival notices and out-turn reports, checking documentation, ensuring all paperwork is received and passed on for Customs Clearance.

Key tasks include:

  • Job registration of Import shipments
  • Distributing pre-alerts, arrival notices and out-turn reports
  • Checking documentation and ensuring all paperwork is received
  • Passing documentation on for Customs Clearance
  • Automation of Sea/Air Cargo and underbond lodgements
  • Releasing delivery orders
  • Checking trans-shipments
  • Coordinating container unpack at depot, including pre-alerts and manifests

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • CargoWise experience or similar operating systems
  • Experience in Import Sea or Air Operations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and time manage
