About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to develop best-in-class models that assess the viability of renewable energy and battery storage opportunities. Your expertise will inform investment decisions and support project teams in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing complex financial models using Excel for investment projects
  • Creating clear, auditable calculations showing underlying contracts and market mechanisms
  • Providing concise summary project information and outputs
  • Interpreting and critically assessing project economics, NPV, IRR, quantitative risk assessment, and strategic alignment
  • Ensuring rigorous internal peer reviews and external audit requirements are met
  • Communicating complex ideas effectively to stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Strong background in finance, economics, or a related field
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, VBA knowledge beneficial
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in the energy industry
  • Experience modeling capital-intensive infrastructure projects
  • Ability to interpret and explain financial forecasts across different scenarios
  • Demonstrated ability to create three-statement financial models
