As a Financial Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, including accounts payable, payroll, and bookkeeping. You will work closely with our administration team to maintain accurate records, manage budgets, and provide financial support to our staff and clients.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, holding a Cert III Business or Bookkeeping qualification, or be willing to complete one. Strong time management and organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team are essential for this position.

In addition to your technical skills, you will be passionate about working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and committed to upholding our organization's values. A genuine occupational requirement under section 25, 104 and 105 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld) applies to this role, requiring the successful candidate to be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.

This is a full-time position (38 hours per week) with a competitive salary package estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include optional salary sacrifice packaging scheme, five weeks' paid annual leave, employee assistance program, and full uniform after successful completion of probation. We also offer flexible work arrangements and opportunities for professional growth and development.
