Community Nursing Opportunity

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in a community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing care to patients in a community setting, working autonomously and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals as needed.

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and address any concerns or issues that may arise.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress.

Requirements:

- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

- Recent experience in acute or community settings, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and promoting positive patient outcomes.

- Strong clinical reasoning skills, ability to spot client deterioration, and capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Highly desired: experience in chronic wound care, negative pressure wound therapy, PICC care/dressing/removal, cannulation skills, and paediatric nursing.
