Personalised Learning Support Specialist

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Personalised Learning Support Specialist. As a specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, one-on-one learning support to students in Years 7-12.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor their approach to meet the unique needs of each student. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to achieving positive outcomes for students.

  • A university degree and/or relevant experience in education or a related field;
  • An understanding of curriculum requirements and teaching methods;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • The ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues;
  • A patient and supportive approach to working with students who require additional support;

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality, personalised learning support to students in Years 7-12;
  • Developing and implementing tailored learning plans to meet the needs of individual students;
  • Working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless support for students;
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and communicating regularly with parents and guardians;
  • Participating in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Preferred qualifications include a Working with Children Check and a Driver Licence. Ability to commute/relocate to Sydney, NSW is required.
