Personalised Care Specialist

HammondCare North Turramurra seeks permanent, part-time Personalised Care Specialists for day and night shifts to deliver high-quality care services. As a Personalised Care Specialist, you will provide evidence-based and tailored support to our elderly residents in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care tasks including showering, grooming, toileting, dressing, and pad changes
  • Provide domestic assistance such as meal preparation, basic cleaning, and laundry
  • Engage with residents and their families, promoting participation in activities of their choice
  • Recognise, report, and respond to changes in resident conditions within your skills and competencies
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in aged care or dementia care
  • Knowledge of complex dementia care, including challenging behaviours
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Knowledge and experience working with people living with dementia and their needs
  • Prioritisation of Cert III or IV in Aged Care would be advantageous
