As the first point of contact for our community, our Customer Experience Team provides information on our diverse range of services.

A key responsibility of this role is delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers in accordance with our Customer Service Charter, Council Policies, and Procedures.

This position plays a crucial part in the effective operation of our centralised customer contact centre and customer service desk, involving a variety and high volume of administrative duties related to processing information and service requests.

If you enjoy providing exceptional customer service and have previous experience working in a fast-paced contact centre or medium-to-large call centre, then this role may be ideal for you.

You'll thrive here if you're an excellent communicator who gets a sense of satisfaction from being part of a bigger picture and helping others.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service and inbound contact centre environments.
  • Experience with cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
  • Highly developed Customer Service, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a professional telephone manner.
  • Previous experience in Local Government is highly regarded.

This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $74,487 - $79,582 per annum (pro-rata for part-time), plus superannuation. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, we encourage you to apply.
