Residential Construction Financial Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the finance function of a luxury residential construction company. This is a Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm role (may look at a 3-4 day week for the right candidate).
This individual will work closely with the external Management Accountant and be responsible for leading the finance function, working on general business operations administration, and providing HR support.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry, and possess basic knowledge of full-function accounts.
- Full function AP & AR & payroll
- Expense reconciliations
- BAS/GST & lodgement
- Cashflow forecasting & project costings
- General journal & ledger management
- Continuous improvement of payment processes
- Generating financial reports
- Asset management
- HR & Operations support
- Other ad hoc requests & duties
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire accounting process from start to finish
- Oversee cash flow forecasting and project costings
- Ensure compliance with BAS/GST regulations
- Develop and implement efficient payment processes
