Job Overview

Jacobs is seeking a highly skilled Associate Water Engineer to join our team in Sydney or Newcastle. As a key member of our ANZ Water Infrastructure sector, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of water engineering solutions.

Your Impact

As an Associate Water Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering engineering solutions with outstanding technical and commercial results across the water sector. You will also act as a mentor to junior team members, manage workload distribution, and foster client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative water treatment and conveyance infrastructure solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in their technical development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality projects.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in chemical, process, environmental, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
  • Extensive experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design, including planning and commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of water industry standards, codes, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
