Key Responsibilities

  • Engineering Leadership
    • Leverage your extensive experience to drive technical excellence and innovation in water systems design and delivery.
    • Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering their growth and development within the company.
  • Client Focused
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded through effective communication and project management.
    • Promote Jacobs' client-centric approach, focusing on delivering exceptional results that meet client expectations.
  • Project Delivery
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, industry codes, and standards relevant to the Australian water sector.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education
    • Possess relevant tertiary qualifications in chemical, process, environmental, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience
    • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure, from planning to commissioning.
    • Showcase 8+ years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design, including coordination with multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Skills
    • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing workload efficiently.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
