Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and dynamic Shift Supervisor to join our team at the University of Melbourne. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, enjoy working in a team environment, and be eager to take on a supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of 8-15 security personnel, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to protocols.
- Oversee control room operations, including managing CCTV footage and screens, access control, visitor management, and responding to phone inquiries.
- Maintain effective communication and reporting within the team.
- Utilise strong computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and operational tasks.
- Manage on-site rostering, including addressing absences and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Maintain incident reports and documentation.
Requirements:
- Full Australian working rights.
- Valid Victorian Security License with Control Room endorsement.
- Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).
- Full Driver's License.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security industry.
- Strong computer proficiency and accessibility.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary range for this role is AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on experience. MSS Security Pty Ltd offers a competitive benefits package, including a generous superannuation scheme, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
