Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Shift Supervisor to join our team at the University of Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about security and leadership.
- Supervise and manage a team of 8-15 security personnel, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to protocols.
- Oversee control room operations, including managing CCTV footage and screens, access control, visitor management, and responding to phone inquiries.
- Maintain effective communication and reporting within the team.
- Utilise strong computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and operational tasks.
- Manage on-site rostering, including addressing absences and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Maintain incident reports and documentation.
This role requires a proactive approach to resolving incidents, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Australian working rights
- Valid Victorian Security License with Control Room endorsement
- Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher)
- Full Driver's License
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Strong communication skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security industry
- Strong computer proficiency and accessibility
The estimated salary for this role is between $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
