Job Title: Security and Protection Specialist
Location: La Trobe University, Bendigo
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $27.56 + super and shift penalties where applicable
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Security and Protection Specialist to provide a security presence at the La Trobe University campus in Bendigo and to provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
This role has a rotating 24/7 roster, typically consisting of 12 hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct foot patrols of campuses, mostly outdoors;
- Escort people around the campus;
- Ensure property is locked and unlocked as required;
- Direct and help people to navigate around the campus;
- Write reports in response to incidents;
- Communicate calmly and clearly with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Certificate II in Security Operations & Security Licence;
- Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain);
- Valid First Aid & CPR;
- Full Australian working rights;
- Customer centric approach;
- Proven ability to remain alert and focused.
