Job Summary:

Fuse Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth initiatives of a leading chemical wholesale company in the Australian market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive lead generation efforts through market research, referrals, tradeshows, and other strategic activities to expand the company's presence in the animal feed industry.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, both domestically and internationally, to build a robust professional network and promote the company's brand.
  • Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with potential and existing clients, identifying new growth opportunities and negotiating commercial terms.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging pre-sales presentations and high-level product demonstrations to showcase the company's products and services.
  • Oversee the negotiation process, including scope, delivery, and commercial terms, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives and provide regular updates on key activities, pipeline, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement monthly and quarterly sales strategy plans to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director on sales-related tasks and report directly to them.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in selling or procuring chemical products, preferably within the animal feed industry.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal) to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Experience in professional environments with a strong customer service orientation to deliver exceptional results.
  • High level of interpersonal skills with excellent time management capabilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
