The Tasmania Government is seeking a highly experienced Senior Governance and Policy Advisor to support the delivery of the Respect 360 Program, a key initiative in response to the independent TFS-SES Culture Review. The successful candidate will provide high-level policy advice and project support to implement recommendations from the Review.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic policy advice and support for the delivery of the Respect 360 Program
  • Assist in implementing recommendations from the TFS-SES Culture Review, including research analysis and generating relevant information and feedback
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure effective governance and risk management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize key initiatives and projects

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in reviewing and writing government policy, research and analysis qualifications, and high-level knowledge of the operational and service delivery processes of the fire and emergency services environment. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
