Job Title: Strategic Policy Advisor
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled strategic policy advisor to join our team. As a key member of our policy team, you will provide high-level strategic policy advice on complex policy projects and legislative initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of policy development and implementation, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to develop and deliver policy advice that meets the needs of the Department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic support and advice to senior leaders on operational policy development;
- Effectively managing major policy and legislative projects relevant to the administration of justice;
- Developing high-level policy advice to Government on specialist matters relevant to the Department;
- Representing the Department at committees, working groups, and other forums at state and national level.
Requirements for this role include:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline;
- Proven experience in policy development and implementation;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
