Beauty Therapist / Massage Therapist - Island Day Spa

Position Overview

The Island Day Spa is looking for skilled and certified Beauty or Massage Therapists to enhance our dedicated team. This role offers flexibility for those seeking either a Live On or Live Off arrangement, with the understanding that weekend shifts are a requirement. We are in search of a talented Beauty or Massage Therapist who can provide exceptional service and ensure guests depart with a memorable spa experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Proven expertise in facials, body treatments, and a solid foundation in massage therapy.
  • Ability to cater to guests of all genders with professionalism.
  • Strong focus on customer service and product sales.
  • Experience in reception, administration, client bookings, and effective communication via phone and email.
  • Exemplary personal presentation and communication skills.
  • Self-driven with the capability to work independently.
  • Willingness to follow guidelines, adhere to standard operating procedures, and accept constructive feedback.
  • Dedication to delivering outstanding customer service to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
  • Providing a professional level of service in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Beauty Therapy or equivalent.
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Remedial Massage or equivalent.
  • At least 12 months of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in a resort day spa environment is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
