Beauty Therapist / Massage Therapist - Island Day Spa
Position Overview
The Island Day Spa at Kingfisher Bay Resort is expanding its workforce and is in search of qualified and skilled Beauty or Massage Therapists. This role is ideal for individuals seeking either a Live On or Live Off arrangement, with the understanding that weekend shifts are a requirement. We are looking for a dedicated Beauty or Massage Therapist who can provide exceptional service and ensure that guests leave with a memorable spa experience.
Essential Responsibilities
- Possess experience in facial treatments, body therapies, and a solid foundation in massage techniques.
- Comfortable providing services to guests of all genders.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills and a focus on product sales.
- Experience in reception, administration, client scheduling, and communication via phone and email.
- Maintain high standards of personal presentation and exhibit excellent communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Ability to follow guidelines, adhere to standard operating procedures, and welcome constructive feedback.
- Take pride in delivering outstanding customer service to ensure a remarkable experience for our guests.
- Provide a professional level of service in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Beauty Therapy or equivalent.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Remedial Massage or equivalent.
- A minimum of 12 months of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in a resort day spa environment or similar is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
