Key Role in Rehabilitation Support
About the Position:This key role involves providing rehabilitation support to Australian Defence Force personnel who have suffered physical and/or psychological injuries.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of ADF personnel to identify rehabilitation needs and goals
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans that address functional capacity, ergonomic, and daily living requirements
- Collaborate with medical specialists, allied health professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor and evaluate rehabilitation progress, making adjustments as needed to optimize outcomes
- Current registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA or AASW)
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy, or Social Work
- Australian Citizenship
- Strong clinical reasoning and ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for helping people rehabilitate and achieve their goals
