Job Summary

The Portfolio Manager is responsible for effectively managing and maximising the performance of a portfolio of retail properties.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the presentation, maintenance and compliance of the portfolio
  • Build and maintain close relationships with clients and tenants of the assets
  • Assist clients with the leasing of the portfolio, achieving and maintaining a high occupancy rate
  • Prepare all related contracts, reports, budgets, reconciliations, correspondence and documentation
  • Proactively manage income and expenditure, as well as financial reporting requirements
  • Supervise tenancy fit outs to ensure consistency and compliance with building objectives
  • Compile and implement the asset's strategic plan and marketing strategy
  • Communicate frequently with clients and provide timely relevant and professional advice in all aspects of property management
  • Team management including concierge service at one site

Key Qualifications:

  • 8+ years' experience in retail property management or centre management
  • Nsw real estate certificate or licence
  • Strong working knowledge of building services and real estate market activities, developments and trends
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Previous use of MRI management system (or similar) is highly regarded
  • Strong organisational and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and foster key relationships and work in a team orientated environment
  • Strong attention to detail
