Job Title: Culinary Team Member

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our culinary team as a Demi Chef. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the high-quality food standards of the hotel, while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional service to guests by attending to their needs and desires promptly.
2. Coordinate daily priorities with the Chef de Partie to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
3. Work in the kitchen as directed, performing general or specialized cooking duties.
4. Minimize wastage at all times, promoting sustainability in our kitchen practices.
5. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines (WH&S).

Requirements:
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong communication skills, with ability to effectively coordinate with colleagues and management.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques.
• Ability to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency in a dynamic kitchen environment.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new ideas and procedures.
• Familiarity with hotel policies and procedures, with ability to comply with all relevant guidelines.
