Job Title: Senior Culinary Professional

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced culinary professional to manage back-of-house operations, ensuring seamless execution of high-quality dishes with creative flair.
  • As a senior culinary professional, you will be responsible for inventory control, cost management, profit reporting, and compliance with food safety standards across our operations.
  • You will also oversee kitchen staff, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment while collaborating with team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, prepare, and present high-quality dishes with creative flair, showcasing expertise in culinary techniques.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to stringent food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize menu offerings, ensure efficient inventory management, and maintain precise cost control.
  • Develop and implement effective procedures for managing inventory, cost of goods sold, profit and loss reporting, and enforcing compliance with food safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Advanced diploma or degree in professional cookery, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Food Safety Supervisor certification is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in buffet and bulk food production service, as well as ability to work varied shifts over a 7-day roster.
