About the Role:

A unique opportunity exists for a skilled Registered Nurse to lead and coordinate admissions and staffing resources in collaboration with clinical professionals.

  • Lead patient care teams and optimize resource utilization.
  • Analyze patient placements and make data-driven decisions.
  • Bilateral relationships with healthcare facilities ensure seamless transfer of care.
  • Liaison with case managers to facilitate smooth transfers from other organizations.
  • Evaluate bed allocation strategies to maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to drive maximum productivity.
  • Manage casual staff portfolios effectively.
  • Assess risks associated with transfer requests from other facilities.

Essential Requirements:

  • Registered nurse with 3 years' experience (Level 4 RN).
  • AHPRA registration with a current practicing certificate.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Experience in coordination or leadership roles.
  • Management qualification (desirable).
  • Familiarity with health funding arrangements (desirable).
