About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Insurance Estimator Supervisor to join our client's team. Our client is a prestigious construction company that specializes in insurance projects and is renowned for their expertise in providing top-notch construction services for insurance-related events.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct Systematic Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations of event damage, paying close attention to all maintenance concerns.
  2. Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit detailed reports in compliance with individual Insurance Company requirements.
  3. Develop Trade Scopes of Work: Develop concise trade Scopes of Work accompanied by accurate estimates that adhere to company agreed rates or industry standards.
  4. Issue Work Orders: Issue Work Orders and effectively manage the job budget.
  5. Regular Site Visits: Regularly visit project sites to ensure the fulfillment of trade scopes of work.
  6. Review and Approve Subcontractor Variations: Review, approve, or reject subcontractor variations as submitted.
  7. Communicate with Insured Parties: Communicate timely updates to insured parties and/or home occupants regarding deliveries and scheduled works.
  8. Provide Regular Reports: Provide regular reports and updates to the Assessing Manager.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in Estimating and Supervising: Experience in estimating and supervising construction projects within the insurance sector.
  2. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and the ability to prepare accurate reports that meet insurance company requirements.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  4. Budget Management: Proficiency in managing budgets and delivering projects within specified timelines.
  5. Industry Knowledge: Sound knowledge of industry standards, practices, and insurance protocols.
