About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Estimator to join our team at Marble. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for providing accurate pricing for contracts and variations, negotiating rates and costs with suppliers and sub-contractors, and maintaining a thorough knowledge of our company products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate pricing for contracts and variations, including appropriate margin considerations
  • Obtain relevant quotes and pricing for non-standard variations
  • Negotiate rates and costs with preferred and non-standard suppliers, sub-contractors, and trades
  • Produce accurate documentation within budgeted time lines
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of company products and services
  • Prepare accurate BOQ's
  • Excellent customer service skills, working with supervisors, suppliers, trades people, contractors
  • Maintain trade and supplier relationships
Requirements
  • 3-5 years estimating experience with a Project Home or Granny Flat Builder is essential
  • Diploma in Building and Construction or equivalent
  • Prior experience using estimating software (i.e. Databuild, BuildSoft, BlueBeam or similar)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with supervisors, suppliers, trades, agents, and contractors

We are an Australian-owned and operated Project Home and Granny Flat builder based across the Sydney Metro and South Coast regions. Building over 250 granny flats and project homes annually, we have established ourselves as a trusted and reputable business in the Residential Construction space.

We have a niche focus on house and land packages, investment homes, and working with first-home buyers to build an affordable, high-quality product. Due to our growth in the project homes sector, we are looking to expand our team with a highly experienced project homes sales estimator.
