Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Police Officer Trainee. This is an entry-level position that offers a unique opportunity to start a career in law enforcement and make a positive impact in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend a POST-approved Police Academy and successfully complete the training program
  • Participate in a comprehensive background examination, including a polygraph test, psychological exam, and physical assessment
  • Meet the minimum qualifications for the position, including a valid California Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record
  • Be available to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
  • Minimum age of 21 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 60 college semester units or more preferred
  • Valid California Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to pass a background examination, including a polygraph test, psychological exam, and physical assessment
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
