About the Opportunity
">Square is seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our Sales Team in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and helping small businesses succeed.
">What You'll Do
">- Lead the charge in introducing Square to SMB merchants in Australia, building relationships and trust through consultative approach
- Oversee the sales cycle from prospect to close, partnering with other teams to ensure successful onboarding
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals through high activity sales efforts
- Partner with Product and Marketing teams to ensure our solutions meet the needs of the market
- Use your prior sales experience to inform a creative go-to-market strategy
Your Background
">- 1+ years of experience in a closing sales role
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- Experience or an interest in helping SMB sellers
- Experience exceeding sales targets
- Structured thought process with ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers
- Ability to gather support from internal experts and external partners to position Square against competitors
- Genuine curiosity about people, business, and ability to inspire passion in others
- Interest in implementing feedback and dedication to improvement of craft
- Tenacity and ability to adapt to new situations quickly and think on your feet
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills that help connect customers by email and phone - quickly establishing trust and partnership deals
- Ability to drive deals independently in fast-paced and high volume, dynamic environment

">Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
