Clinical Care Specialist for Mental Health Services
Job DescriptionThis position is a vital part of our multidisciplinary team that delivers high-quality mental health services to children and young people in the Northwest region of Tasmania. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team, working closely with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and families to provide comprehensive care and support.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the unique needs of each child or young person. They will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support and education to patients and their families.
The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mental health issues affecting children and young people, as well as expertise in clinical assessment and intervention strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Current Working with Children Registration
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in an area relevant to the role
- Post-graduate qualification or working towards a post-graduate qualification relevant to the role
