About the Role

Crown Equipment is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our Sydney Service Department. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling contract maintenance programs for material handling equipment and providing exceptional customer service and administration support to our customers.

We are looking for a sales professional who is enthusiastic, has a high-energy approach, and is motivated to succeed. You will have the opportunity to develop strong business relationships with our customers, analyze opportunities, and identify key personnel to pursue new business and develop key existing accounts.

As a Sales Representative, you will be trained to become a sales professional and will be responsible for delivering exceptional professionalism, customer service, and administration support to our customers. You will have access to a comprehensive induction program, including on-the-job training and mentoring by managers and other successful team members.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Ensure customer needs are satisfied while ensuring Crown's demands are met.
  • Conduct regular customer site visits to improve and promote Crown's products.
  • Deliver quotes in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Pursue new business and develop key existing accounts within the customer base.
  • Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships via cold calls, presentations, and following up on leads for new business.
  • Develop service sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts using local and market research.
  • Prepare quotations, cost reports, performance reports, and customer correspondence.
  • Develop a plan to maximize time with customers to seek new business and enhance customer retention by monitoring customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of cold calls, customer files, and sales activity information.
Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have an enthusiastic can-do attitude, a high-energy approach, fast learning skills, and motivation to succeed. You will also need superior organizational skills and sales experience is highly desired.
