Vulcan, Australasia's leading metals distributor, is seeking a skilled Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the mining sector, with a focus on offering wear solutions to reduce clients' ultimate costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, networking, and conducting onsite trials to demonstrate product benefits.
  • Build and nurture relationships with mine owners, design consultants, EPCs, OEMs, and service contractors.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and conduct product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our steel plates.

Requirements:

  • High school qualifications are essential, and degrees will be considered, but your attitude and energy are what matter most.
  • You've got a proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in the mining or industrial services sector. Familiarity with steel products, especially wear applications, is a big plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are key, along with the ability to solve problems and negotiate. You've got a technical aptitude and a desire to learn and grow within our business.
