Job Title: Laser Tracker Operator

About the Role:

As a Laser Tracker Operator, you will be responsible for performing high-precision measurements on turbine-generator components and related equipment. Your key objective will be to ensure accurate and reliable data collection, which is critical to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in forward-looking planning to address potential risks on schedule and detailed technical installation sequence.
  • Prepare measurement and inspection reports, coordinate inspections with site management team members.
  • Program laser tracker to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.
  • Conduct measurements according to Inspection & Test Plans, collect and analyze data obtained during measurements.
  • Identify deviations and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Support team in overseeing installation of hydro-turbines and related equipment at site.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Engineering Technology or equivalent industry experience.
  • Previous demonstrated experience operating laser tracker equipment in construction industry or similar industries.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications, keen attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player with customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
  • Proficiency in using measurement software and associated data analysis tools.
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol test and police check.
  • Must be able to stand, walk and climb as necessary.
  • Availability for night shifts.
