The role of a Site Supervisor involves overseeing the installation of hydro-turbines and related equipment at site.
Key responsibilities include actively participating in look ahead planning, preparing measurement and inspection reports, coordinating inspections with the site management team members, programming the laser tracker to ensure accurate and reliable data collection, conducting measurements according to the Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), collecting and analyzing data obtained during measurements, identifying deviations and providing recommendations for corrective actions, and supporting the team in overseeing the installation process.
Required qualifications include a diploma in engineering technology or equivalent industry experience, previous demonstrated experience in operating laser tracker equipment in the construction industry or similar industries, ability to read technical drawings and specifications, keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and precise measurements, collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
Site Conditions- A typical roster of 14 days in, 7 days out.
- A typical work schedule of 10 hours per day, 7 days a week.
- Camp accommodation is provided.
