The site supervisor will primarily be responsible for performing high-precision measurements on turbine-generator components and related equipment. Additionally, the technician will support the team in overseeing the installation of hydro-turbines and related equipment at site.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in forward-looking planning and address potential schedule and technical risks.
- Prepare measurement and inspection reports.
- Coordinate inspections with site management team members.
- Program the laser tracker to ensure accurate data collection.
- Conduct measurements according to Inspection & Test Plans.
- Collect and analyze data obtained during measurements.
- Identify deviations and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering Technology or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience operating laser tracker equipment in the construction industry or similar industries.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate measurements.
- Collaborative team player with customer-oriented approach.
- Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering problem-solving solutions.
- Proficiency in using measurement software and associated data analysis tools.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office skills.
- Effective communication in English in an international team environment.
- A 14 days in, 7 days out roster.
- A typical work schedule of 10 hours per day.
- Camp accommodation provided.
