About High-Precision Measurements
We are looking for a skilled professional to support our team in Australia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-precision measurements on turbine-generator components and related equipment.
The primary tasks include participating in look-ahead planning, addressing potential risks on schedule and detailed technical installation sequence, preparing measurement and inspection reports, coordinating inspections with the site management team members, programming the laser tracker to ensure accurate and reliable data collection, conducting measurements according to Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), collecting and analyzing data obtained during measurements, identifying deviations and providing recommendations for corrective actions, and supporting the team in overseeing the installation of hydro-turbines and related equipment at site.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering Technology or equivalent industry experience.
- Previous demonstrated experience in operating laser tracker equipment in the construction industry or similar industries.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and precise measurements.
- Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
- Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering strategic problem-solving solutions.
- Proficiency in using measurement software and associated data analysis tools.
- Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment.
