Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Registered Midwife to join our hospital team. As a key member of our midwifery service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to women throughout their pregnancy journey.

As a Registered Midwife, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based midwifery care to women of varying ages and cultural backgrounds. Your commitment to delivering woman-centred care will be evident in your work on the antenatal ward, Maternity Assessment unit, Birthing Suites, Postnatal ward, Caesarean lists, and Special Care Nursery.

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife is essential;
  • A minimum of 2 years' recent experience working as a Registered Midwife in similar roles is required;
  • Ability to advocate for and implement individualised woman-centred care is crucial;
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills are necessary;
  • A professional manner when working with complex situations is expected;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential;
  • Flexibility to work a seven-day roster including night duty is required;
  • Basic computer skills are necessary;
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check is mandatory.
