Learning and Development Consultant Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Learning and Development Consultant to contribute to the development and implementation of operational competency assessments and frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in adult learning design, delivery, and evaluation. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher qualification in adult education is required. Additionally, they should possess sound knowledge of RTO standards, AQF, TAC, and VET compliance and quality frameworks.

  • Create training resources and assessment materials aligned with compliance standards.
  • Support the creation of technical competency frameworks.
  • Develop workplace-based assessments that reflect operational tasks.

The selected candidate will work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effective implementation of learning materials. They will also lead development activities, manage timelines, monitor progress, and ensure quality and consistency across deliverables.

To be successful in this role, applicants must have:

  • Demonstrated experience in adult learning design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher qualification in adult education.
  • Sound knowledge of RTO standards, AQF, TAC, and VET compliance and quality frameworks.
  • Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively in team environments.
  • Suitable proficiency in technology, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and eLearning tools.
