Job Title: Autonomous Training Supervisor

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Training and Competency Specialist to join our team in Western Australia. This is a full-time role that involves leading a small team and establishing and maintaining a training and competency management system, delivering high-quality training to all roles in our Autonomous Operations Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and enforce procedures for maintaining and updating training, licenses, and competencies required for employees.
  • Create and maintain Training Needs Analysis for all roles, including key areas of Autonomy System Operation, Safety Procedures and Protocols, and Maintenance and Troubleshooting.
  • Develop user manuals, guides, or online documentation.
  • Deliver training sessions or webinars.
  • Conduct verifications of competency particularly for high-risk tasks.
  • Facilitate storage and control of all training documentation for reporting and auditing compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122) minimum or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a training/assessor role in an autonomous mining environment.
  • Advanced written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced Doc Control experience.
  • Current C-Class driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
  • Must have the right to work in Australia.
  • Current National Police Clearance, issued within the last twelve months.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading a team of trainers and assessors.
  • Knowledge of mining regulations and core safety procedures.

Travel:

This is a Perth-based role that will require regular travel to Onslow, particularly as the project moves into deployment and then operations.
