Job Opportunity

Bupa is seeking a compassionate and hands-on professional to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

This role is based in Sydney or Brisbane with flexible work-from-home options, supporting Bupa Villages and Aged Care (BVAC).

As one of Australia's leading residential Aged Care providers, we support over 5,000 residents across more than 50 care homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage employee relations cases from start to finish, including grievances, performance issues, redundancies, bullying, and harassment.
  • Provide guidance and advice to managers while coaching people leaders to become proficient in managing people processes, such as organisational effectiveness, effective rostering, attendance management, performance discussions, and driving engagement.
  • Support the implementation and rollout of new and cyclical initiatives, like the performance management system, annual review process, engagement surveys, and new processes and policies.
  • Collaborate with the Head of People to deliver organisational redesign, people plans addressing strategic and operational business needs aligned with the overall people strategy.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8+ years of HR business partnering experience, proven influencing and coaching business leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing high-volume and complex end-to-end ER cases.
  • Experience partnering with various stakeholders to provide HR advice on the full employee lifecycle to a dispersed workforce.
  • High level of maturity, empathy, and ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Execution-focused individual with a drive to deliver effectively on day-to-day operations.
  • Generalist HR experience, including leadership capability, operational HR delivery, employee retention, talent management, etc.
  • Degree in HR, Psychology, or Management.
