Key Organising Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading national organising activities across various industries as directed by the organisation's strategic plan.

  • Develop and Implement Organising Plans: The Key Organiser will develop, implement, and manage operational organising plans in line with the organisation's industry strategies and campaigns.
  • Promote Union Goals: The Key Organiser will implement and promote organising practices, policies, strategies, and systems that contribute to the union's goals.
  • Campaign Development and Management: The Key Organiser will assist in coordinating and managing the work of national organisers, assisting in campaign development, reviews, and innovation.
  • Organising Capability Development: The Key Organiser will develop the union's organising capability and support the development of organisers.

Responsibilities: The Key Organiser will have a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing operational organising plans.
  • Coordinating and managing the work of national organisers.
  • Assisting in campaign development, reviews, and innovation.
  • Developing the union's organising capability and supporting the development of organisers.
