Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Privileged Access Manager (PAM) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of access management solutions, with experience working in medium to large multi-business organisations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for serving as a technical resource on various initiatives, guiding and supporting projects on appropriate access controls. They will also inform the Line of Business on access management policies, standards, processes, and technologies.

In addition, the PAM Specialist will be responsible for access exception management within various technologies and systems, possessing strong knowledge of Identity process, including PKI, federation, access management, and/or privileged access management.

Other key responsibilities include recording, tracking, and managing all IAM audits, reviews, and configuration changes during the lifecycle, including governance that relies on manual User Access Control (UAC) processing.

The successful candidate will also contribute to the analysis of current IT environments, conducting reviews of access controls - who has access to what, what are they doing with that access, and is access being used appropriately?

This role requires the ability to collaboratively solve technical and platform access issues in support of business requirements, with a thorough technical understanding of Active Directory (AD), User (RBAC) accounts, and AD group policies, as well as One Identity and Azure Identity, Azure AD, Microsoft o365 services, and cloud access controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience of access management solutioning within medium or large multi-business organisations
  • Ability to collaboratively solve technical and platform access issues in support of business requirements
  • Experience working in a control environment, reporting on, and remediating security control issues for disparate technical environments
  • Thorough technical understanding of Active Directory (AD), User (RBAC) accounts, and AD group policies, as well as One Identity and Azure Identity, Azure AD, Microsoft o365 services, and cloud access controls
  • Detailed knowledge of requirement analysis techniques (business rules, data modelling, functional decomposition, scenario and use cases)
  • Good technical and report skills, including approval templates and guard rails
  • Understanding or experience in Agile Methodology and developing user stories
  • Understanding of business risk process and risk methodologies
