Job Title

A leader is required for CALD services. This senior role will oversee a range of programs and services.

  • Lead and manage the delivery of government and partner-funded programs, ensuring quality outcomes.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop staff to build capability and maintain strong performance.
  • Strengthen connections with culturally and linguistically diverse communities to ensure services are culturally safe and responsive.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Support: Provide high-level advice and report to the executive in planning and decision-making.
  2. Program Oversight: Ensure program delivery meets funding requirements, reporting obligations, and aligns with evidence-based standards.
  3. Staff Leadership: Develop staff to meet organizational goals.
  4. Community Engagement: Foster relationships with diverse communities.
  5. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks in service delivery.
About the Role

Demonstrated experience in leading programs within the health or community sector.

Strong understanding of issues impacting diverse communities.

Ability to lead, mentor, and develop staff.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a community or human services context.
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational and team development skills.
