Senior Leadership Role for CALD Community Services

CAASSA is a not-for-profit organisation that assists thousands of Culturally And Linguistically Diverse (CALD) individuals in Adelaide.

We provide a wide range of programs and support services catering to the needs of CALD communities across aged care, NDIS, treatment and support services for alcohol and other drugs, gambling harms, mental health, community education, community participation, and maintaining cultural connections through festivals and events.

About the Role
  • The Senior Leader will oversee multiple programs and services supporting culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.
  • This key role provides strategic guidance and supervision to senior team members and is accountable for the effective day-to-day operations of services.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Support: Offer high-level advice and report to the Executive Manager on planning and decision-making initiatives.
  • Program Oversight: Lead and manage the delivery of government-funded programs, ensuring quality outcomes and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Staff Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop Team Leaders to enhance their capabilities and maintain strong performance.
  • Community Engagement: Strengthen connections with CALD communities to ensure services are culturally safe and responsive.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent CAASSA with professionalism, building and maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and implement strategies to mitigate risks in service delivery.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, reporting, and resources in line with organisational policies and procedures.
About You
  • Demonstrated experience in program leadership within the health, community, or social services sector.
  • Strong understanding of issues impacting CALD communities.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop staff.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage compliance, reporting, and risk management processes.
