Data Management and Records Governance Specialist

About the Role:

The position is part of the Information and Records Management Team (IRM), which provides various services including IRM governance, compliance support, repository management, EDRMS helpdesk support, and collaboration with physical and digital records.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate file transfer and retrieval services, sentencing, archiving, and destruction of physical and digital records.
  • Administer Objective workflows, assist personnel with EDRMS functions, processes, and adoption.
  • Provide first- and second-level system support for EDRMS.
  • Coordinate with IT systems and support teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guides for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Offer advice on records and information management best practices to customers.
  • Plan and deliver EDRMS/IRM training, including creating training materials.
  • Assist the Records Officer with mail and courier processing.
  • Manual lifting and moving of record boxes up to 15kg.

Your Profile Will Demonstrate:

  • Experience in records management.
  • Proficiency in Objective.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes up to 15kg.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
  • Australian citizenship (mandatory).

Security Requirements:

  • Must have a current Baseline Clearance (candidates without this clearance will not be eligible).
